The Senior Pastor of Awaiting The Second Coming of Christ Ministry, Adewale Giwa, has said the former presidential candidates of the Labour Party, LP, Peter Obi, Atiku Abubakar and President Bola Tinubu can’t fix Nigeria.
Pastor Giwa was reacting to the controversy surrounding the mismanagement of the LP 2023 presidential campaign funds.
He said Nigeria would have been forgotten if Obi had won the 2023 presidential election because he’s unfaithful in little things.
Chatting with Newspot, Giwa said: “Nigeria would have been forgotten by now if Peter Obi was elected as president in the last 2023 election. A man who is not faithful in the little things can’t be faithful in the big things.
“The world can clearly see that those who pretend to be saints are worse than the present crop of politicians. Most of the people who claim to be activists on social media can’t even manage their homes, not to talk of the entire nation.
“Things are now falling apart while the centre can not hold. Forget Nigeria if Obi had become the president. His administration would’ve been worse than the Tinubu-led government.
“None of these men can fix Nigeria; I said it before the 2023 presidential election. They are men with questionable records. The nation that wants to succeed won’t elect such a leader. How can someone who is not transparent to his party members be transparent to the entire nation?
“I wasn’t part of the people they deceived in the 2023 presidential election. They came to me, appealed, and did everything possible to convince me, but I turned them down. I am being led by the Holy Spirit and not by the people.
“All I see is the cause of the problem facing us is neocolonialism. We are not totally free from our colonial masters. If any leader attempts to break the shackles, they will use his opponent against him.
“It’s either they take him out of the way or they silence him. Therefore, it will take the citizens themselves to fight for their future in whatever means they have.”
