Laura Anderson has revealed she has tested positive for coronavirus after managing to ‘dodge’ it since the start of the pandemic.

The former Love Island star, 32, told her followers she was suffering from some ‘dodgy breathing’ due to the virus.

She revealed on Instagram: ‘Loza is positive. For once not in a good way. Hey guys so the inevitable has happened after a year and a half, what two years? I have Covid.

‘I managed to dodge it for that time. Probably because I went to the UK at the weekend. Who knows?’

Laura added: ‘Do not be fazed by the glam and the filter. Excuse the dodgy breathing. I’ve been doing content today so excuse me if it’s not too good.

‘I need your help. I’m supposed to be starting panto rehearsals this Saturday which is obviously not going to be happening now. I need to isolate now.’

The former air hostess had been due to take part in rehearsals for a pants in Dubai but was worried having time off to isolate would affect her performance.

She told her followers; I just need your support more than ever to be honest. If anyone wants to come to the show to see me forget my lines, the dance moves cause I’ve only done half the rehearsals…

‘Absolutely gutted to be missing our first week of panto rehearsals. I feel terrible to not be there to see everyone. I’m definitely causing an inconvenience.’

Laura had had her symptoms confirmed with a PCR test after feeling unwell, confirming she had indeed caught Covid-19.

The reality star had also recently revealed she and boyfriend Dane Bowers, 41, were trying for a baby on Vicky Pattison’s podcast.

She explained: ‘We started trying really quickly. I’ve been on the pill for years – just so long I was on the pill – and I thought, do you know what, this probably is not that good for my body.

‘And I was just like “Should I just come off it and we won’t 100% try.” But I got the app so I tracked when I’d be ovulating. And he was like “If you’re going to come off the pill we may as well track it and do it properly.” And I was like “alright, ok.” He’s like it will probably take ages.’
