Friends of the Ondo State Governor , Arakunrin Rotimi Akeredolu in the media today appealed to those who are making unfair political moves on the current ill health of the Governor to desist from them forthwith.
In a statement issued in Lagos today and signed by Messers Folu Olamiti and Tayo Balogun, said “Governor Akeredolu is only temporarily incapacitated and all men of goodwill should be more concerned with wishing the Governor a speedy recovery”. They faulted those who are claiming not to be aware of the Governor’s situation for always choosing to ignore press releases from his Press Secetary which from time to time give adequate details of the situation at hand.
According to the group, Governor Akeredolu will by the grace of God return soon to his duty post. It advised all those prematurely posturing for the next election next year to exercise patience and allow peace to reign. The body called on all men of goodwill to pray for the speedy recovery of the Ondo State helmsman
