…..Amidst Testimonies Of Exemplary Humble Christian Life

As the late Barrister Frederick Baoku Akinseye’s remains were committed to mother earth catalogue of Testimonies came pouring out all indicative of the exemplary Christian life he lived.
Leading the pack in his sermon was the vicar and Archdeacon of Bishop Akinyele Memorial Anglican Church of Ibadan North Diocese, the Venerable Isaac Olusegun Akinade who described the deceased as an epitome of humility, honesty, integrity, transparency and above all God fearing.
According to him, God created man to serve Him. God commanded that we should be fruitful, subdue and have dominion over the earth, he said in doing these, human beings would be placed in a better stead to serve God and humanity put together. This according to him was the exact things the late Akinseye did that warranted the attributes poured on him this day.
In their presentations, the Egbe Ayanfe Kristi, the society which the late Akinseye was a foundation member and a past president described him as a pillar that supported the society in the last forty years. To them, he had created a vacuum that would be difficult to fill. They honoured him through a special rendition..
The same goes for the old students of Aquinas College Akure which he was an alumni. They went down memory lane and relished their school days- the alumni association and concluded that Akinseye was indeed an enigma. They equally rendered a special anthem in his honour. Earlier, his wife gave tributes folliwed by his children, family members, friends and aquintances.
Barrister Frederick Baoku Akinseye’s death came as a shock but the indelible marks he left on the sands of time will linger in the minds of those who came across him either directly or by proxy.
Without mincing words, he imparted positively on the lives of people as catalogue of tributes from people of all walks of life attested to after his demise.
To Princess Taiye Akinseye, his wife of more than 4 decades, Baoku was a loving husband and a caring father who lived his entire life serving God and humanity. His first child Dapo and his siblings could not have wished less for a father who they was described as epitome of every good thing humanity stands. His brothers and sisters had him as shoulder to lean on. To friends and colleagues, he was a great motivator.
All the tributes pointed to one direction, Akinseye was a quintessential human being who came to this world, saw and conquered.
Born in the hilly town of Idanre, Ondo state on June 20 1949 to High chief Rufus Akinfolarin Akinseye and Mama Modesola Akinseye of blessed memories.
He had the opportunities of obtaining Western education both home and abroad. He crowned his education with Bachelor of Law at the University of Wolverhampton in the United Kingdom in 2003 at age 54, thus fulfilling his ambition of becoming a lawyer.
Late Akinseye was a director of many companies and organisations. He was the co founder of WINTECH a laboratory supply equipment company with headquarters in Ibadan Oyo State.
Barrister Frederick Baoku Akinseye died o 17July 2022 afternoon brief illness. He was aged 73.
