Barcelona winger, Raphinha, has warned the club that players may think twice about joining, due to Dani Olmo and Pau Victor’s registration problems.
The Catalans have failed to register both Olmo and Victor for the second half of the LaLiga season due to their financial problems.
Raphinha has now said if he was a prospective signing, he would “wonder if it’s the best option” to join Barca.
When asked if the registration fiasco would affect future transfers, the Brazilian replied: “Yes, it can have an impact, I can’t say the opposite.
“If I was in another club seeing the situation they are going through, I would probably wonder if coming here is the best option.
“When I signed for Barca I knew the situation the club was going through.
“I saw a chance to play for this shirt and I waited until the very last moment. I don’t regret at all my decision.”
Barcelona signed Olmo from RB Leipzig less than six months ago for a fee around £50million.
In a final attempt to register the midfielder and Victor, they are planning to file a complaint to the Spanish government, after LaLiga and the Spanish Federation (RFEF) stood firm on their registration stances.
