A Nigerian lady has shared online, how she almost escaped being kidnapped by Fulani herdsmen while traveling for her induction.
Recounting the experience, she stated that the kidnappers shot at their car several times and chased after them when they took to their heels.
The lady who sustained several cuts and injuries said they almost took her with them but let her go because she wouldn’t stop fighting back.
A part of her post read;
“This guys came out of the bush with guns shooting at our bus. We all came down and took to our heels. While running they came shooting at us, chasing us, and beating us with cutlasses and sticks. I saw my life flash right before my very eyes. I thought it was the end for me, they held me 5 times, I fell and stood up to run again and they kept pushing me inside the bush. When the army guys came to our rescue we realized they were able to take one passenger after beating him mercilessly. I have never known the meaning of what a miracle truly is. The devil tried but God came through for me”
She also went on to include clips of her at the induction ceremony which she could have missed if the kidnappers succeeded with their plans.
