Kylian Mbappe is set to earn huge money from his first Real Madrid contract, with the French superstar’s salary, wages and net worth now confirmed.
Mbappe left Paris-Saint Germain as a free agent this summer and there had been much speculation over where the World Cup winner, regarded as the one of the best strikers in world football, would end up next.
Arsenal and Liverpool reportedly explored a deal – and Mbappe was even open to joining the Gunners – but both clubs were reluctant to break their wage structure.
Despite interest from other sides, Real Madrid remained the most likely destination and with Mbappe now officially heading to the La Liga and Champions League winners, fans want to know how much money he’ll make.
How much money will Kylian Mbappe earn per week at Real Madrid?
Kylian Mbappe will be earning just over £250,000 a week from his weekly wages alone after tax in the Spanish capital, according to widespread reports.
His yearly salary will see Mbappe pocket £12.8m after tax, while he is also set to receive a significant signing-on bonus. Sky Sports have reported that the bonus will be around £85m, while according to the BBC, he will actually pick up £128m.
Interestingly, Mbappe has actually taken a pay-cut from what he had been earning from the last deal he signed at PSG in 2022.
That contract was worth an astonishing €630m (£536m) to the Frenchman, with his basic wage around €6m (£5.1m) per month and his after-tax monthly salary at €2.7m (£2.3m).
How long is Kylian Mbappe’s Real Madrid contract?
Kylian Mbappe has signed a five-year Real Madrid contract, which sees him tied to the Santiago Bernabeu until 2029.
He is currently 25-years-old – so Mbappe could possibly still be playing for the Spanish giants by the time he turns 30.
Mbappe, though, has already hinted that Real Madrid will not be his final club andhe wants to join AC Milan one day.
What is Kylian Mbappe’s net worth?
Kylian Mbappe’s net worth stands at around $180m (£140m), according to celebritynetworth.com.
That’s significantly less than the net worth of Lionel Messi, 36, and Cristiano Ronaldo, 39, which is thought to be around £510m and £470m respectively.
Mbappe, though, is much younger than that duo and has many years to close the gap.
