Katsina: Police charges officers on integrity as 181 earn promotion

The Katsina State Commissioner of Police, Aliyu Musa, has charged 181 newly promoted officers of the Command to uphold the highest standards of professionalism, dedication, and integrity as they assume their new ranks.

The CP gave the charge on Monday during a decoration ceremony held at the Command Headquarters in Katsina.

The event was organized to honor the officers for their well-deserved promotions.

While congratulating the officers, CP Musa emphasized the need for accountability and transparency in the discharge of their duties.

“I urge you to continue upholding the highest standards of professionalism, dedication, integrity, and transparency as you carry out your responsibilities,” he said.

He also extended his appreciation to the Inspector General of Police, IGP Kayode Egbetokun, and the Chairman of the Police Service Commission for recognizing the officers’ contributions and granting them the promotion.

“I want to thank the Inspector General of Police, IGP Kayode Egbetokun, and the Chairman of the Police Service Commission for finding the officers worthy of promotion,” Musa added.

The Commissioner called on the families and friends of the promoted officers to support them as they take on their new responsibilities.

The ceremony was attended by senior police officers, family members, and friends of the decorated personnel, creating a festive atmosphere of celebration and gratitude.
