The Nassarawa Local Government Chairman in Kano State, Yusuf Imam popularly known as Ogan Boye has appointed 60 aides to serve in various capacities within his administration.
This was contained in a letter dated 6th January 2024 and signed by the Local Government Secretary, Hon. Ado Muhd Hotoro.
The appointments include roles such as personal aides, special assistants, directors-general, and special reporters.
According to the letter, the appointments were based on merit, dedication, honesty, and commitment.
The letter highlighted that the appointees were selected with the goal of improving the functioning of the council and ensuring the successful delivery of its services to the people.
“Sequel to the efforts of the Honourable Chairman of Nassarawa Local Government to promote and develop the local government area, I wish to convey the approval for the appointment of the following prominent individuals to various roles across different fields and professions,” part of the letter reads.
Among the key appointments are Jamilu D. Attahir, who was appointed Principal Personnel Secretary (P.P.S.), Rabilu Muhd Gama as Personal Assistant on Documentation, and Kabiru Ishak Hannafi as Personal Assistant on Domestic Affairs.
Other notable appointees include Hassan Shehu Adamu, who will serve as Special Assistant for Media, Auwal Abdullahi as Chief Protocol, and Halima Abubakar as Women Leader.
The Chairman expressed his confidence in the abilities of the new appointees, urging them to carry out their duties with dedication and commitment.
