Klopp arrived at Anfield in October 2015 and has transformed the club during his time at Anfield.
The German has suggested in recent years that he will one day take a sabbatical and was expected to take his break from football when his current contract expires in 2024.
The Athletic report however his has signed a new deal tying him to the club for another four years.
Klopp is said to have changed his plans after being ‘re-energised’ by the club’s pursuit of the quadruple.
Liverpool won the League Cup in February after a penalty shootout victory over Chelsea.
The Reds are one point behind Premier League leaders Manchester City and have already booked their place in the FA Cup final, with another Wembley meeting with Chelsea looming.
On Wednesday, they took one step into the Champions League final with a 2-0 victory over Villarreal in the first leg of their semi-final.
