The American owners confirmed earlier this week that at least a portion of the club has been put up for sale, though they would consider selling their entire stake if the right offer arrived.
Liverpool’s poor start to the season has seen supporters turn on the owners for a supposed lack of investment.
Around £100m was spent last summer on the likes of Darwin Nunez and Fabio Carvalho but the club failed to sign a midfielder, which has proved costly so far this term.
Traditionally, new owners would make their own decisions on the manager but Klopp is in such a strong position on Merseyside that it’s likely to be the other way around.
But the good news for Liverpool supporters is that the German says he’s committed to the club regardless of who the owners are.
‘What I read [is] they are looking for investment,’ he said.
‘Good idea, I like that.
‘For me, it means nothing, whatever happens, if it does change, I am committed to the club.’
