The no-nonsense Judge who got confirmed by the US Senate by a vote of 95 to zero is presiding over the third indictment trial of Donald Trump with two or three more indictments expected between now and the year end.
There is legal Justice and there is poetic Justice.
The two may collide or get reconciled tomorrow in the Court Appearance of the Century involving the former President of the United States who has entered the race for President 2 years earlier than necessary or expected for tactical reasons.
Donald Trump views that move as his only escape route from being sent to jail because he knows he is as guilty as Hell and would have no other defense than to allege political witch-hunt and vendetta from a sitting President who is going to be his major or only opponent in their epic race to the White House in 2024. The pathological liar who always wants to play the victim is going round telling all his delusional supporters he is being persecuted because he fighting for them which is a big lie.
Donald Trump the Mafia Boss and the artful dodger is using delaying tactics to delay his trial till after the election so if by any chance he wins which is unlikely but possible thru the Abracadabra of the Electoral College Contraption which denies American voters of their power to elect their President and forcefully and unilaterally give that power to a College of 570 handpicked electors to replace the verdict of close to 160 to 170 million Americans who may have cast their votes for a candidate of their choice in the Ballot Box.
Donald Trump was elected the President in 2016 by losing the popular vote by 3 million votes to a woman who was on her way to becoming the first female President of America since July 4, 1776.
The same Donald Trump was complaining and disputing the outcome of the 2020 Election he had lost to Joseph Biden by close to 8 million in the popular vote because he was emboldened to repeat the same prank having lost in 2016 by 3 million.
He had tried to repeat the same inequity in 2020 after losing the popular vote by close to 8 million and he is hoping to repeat the same feat in 2024 even if he loses by 16 to 20 million. He knew the weakness of the American System and he planned to take undue advantage of it by manipulating it to his own advantage.
He knew such an absurdity is only possible in a Dictatorship and that is why he is openly declaring his intention to turn America from a Democracy to a full- fledged Dictatorship pretty much like what obtains in China, Russia and North Korea with some help from those countries and their authoritarian leaders. He has run himself into a Cul de Sac this time around by meeting his Waterloo in Jack Smith and the DOJ.
His appearance or Court trial of tomorrow before Judge Tanya Chutkan is billed to be the trial of the Century in which for the first time in American History that a former American President would be arraigned in person as a criminal defendant in a case labeled “the United States of America versus Donald J. Trump”
History would be made tomorrow as Tanya Chutkan the Jamaican-born America-naturalized learned Judge presides over that Court in the trial of the Century.
It is a historical moment for the leader of the Free World and the so-called best experiment in Human History and the Beacon of Hope for Democracy.
