Fresh off his Champions League success at Wembley last weekend, Bellingham pipped the likes of Erling Haaland and Lionel Messi to the number one spot in the popular card game’s latest release.
‘World Football Stars Top 200’ ranks the top 200 football players from every league around the world, including both men and women.
The first release is set to come out in June, with key categories judging every player by their age, goals, trophies, height and caps.
‘Jude Bellingham ranks #1 based on his extraordinary talent, versatility on the field, and the remarkable impact he has made on the game at such a young age,’ a Top Trumps spokesperson said.
‘Not only is he highly valued in terms of his market worth, but his ability to dominate the midfield, coupled with his leadership qualities and consistent performance in top-tier competitions, makes him an inspiration and solidifies his place at the No 1 spot.’
Bellingham will hope to add the latest trophy to his already-impressive haul this summer at the European Championship in Germany.
Facing a quick turnaround after Saturday’s final at Wembley. the 20-year-old did not feature in England’s first pre-tournament friendly win against Bosnia and Herzegovina.
However, the midfielder will be hoping to return to Gareth Southgate’s starting line-up for the second warm-up fixture against Iceland on Friday.
Speaking prior to the win over Bosnia and Herzegovina. Southgate was full of praise for Bellingham’s first season in Spain, which saw him also win La Liga.
‘He’s had a fantastic season,’ the England boss said on Sunday.
‘To join the biggest club in the world and perform in the way he has throughout the season, it’s been an incredible year for him. I’m absolutely delighted for him.’
