Jude Bellingham hilariously embarrassed his mum when he asked Jose Mourinho to take a photo with her, joking she has always had a soft spot for ‘The Special One’.

The 20-year-old celebrated Real Madrid’s Champions League success on Saturday night after helping his side seal a 2-0 win over Borussia Dortmund at Wembley.

After the trophy presentation, the England international approached his mum Denise in the stands, putting his medal around her neck before inviting her on the pitch along with his dad Mark and younger brother Jobe.

Bellingham briefly left the party to make a beeline for Mourinho, who was part of TNT Sport’s broadcast team on the night.

The former Chelsea and Manchester United manager, who is now set to take over Turkish side Fenerbahce, was approached by the Real Madrid star, who then introduced him to his mum with the two shaking hands and posing for a photo.

During those scenes, TNT Sports cameras picked up Bellingham explaining, ‘Sorry about that, my mum’s fancied you for years!’

Bellingham’s won European football’s biggest competition in his first season at Real having already celebrated La Liga title success with Carlo Ancelotti’s side.

The England star paid an emotional tribute to his family in his post-match interview, tearfully thanking them for their support.

‘This is the best night of my life. I can’t have dreamed of much more this season. I’m so grateful,’ he said.

‘My team-mates, the staff, my family. The team behind the team like the physios. It’s a massive group effort. I just can’t believe it. I always dreamed of playing in these games. You go through life and there are so many people who say you can’t do things.

‘It gets hard at times but nights like tonight make you realise it was worth it and all those kinds of things. I was alright until I saw my mum and dad’s face.

‘The amount of nights where they can be at home by seven o’clock and they’re doing trips at 11 and 12 at night to take me to football.

‘And my little brother there who I’m trying to be a role model for, yeah, I can’t put into words, it’s the best night of my life.’
