Responsibilities
- Communicate with clients and vendors.
- Clearly comprehend the warehouse’s role in achieving the company’s goals and policies.
- Coordinate the usage of automated and computerized systems.
- Encourage, coordinate, and promote teamwork among employees to ensure that productivity goals are met or surpassed.
- Speak with clients to assess the level of service they are receiving.
- Make sure inventories are accurate and keep stock control systems current.
- Consider the capacity needs of the future.
- Taking in, handling, labeling, and storing new stock.
- Uphold standards for hygiene, security, and health and safety in the workplace, such as making sure that supplies like food and chemicals are stored safely.
