Our client, a global film manufacturing company serving flexible packaging solutions in all the world’s major continents, seeks to hire a Utility Manager for their Nigeria Office.
Job Responsibilities:
Reviewing operational metrics such as energy usage, production levels, and labor costs to ensure compliance with industry standards.
Scheduling regular maintenance for equipment such as boilers, air conditioning systems, pumps, or water treatment facilities.
Conducting fire drills and other safety programs to ensure that employees are prepared in an emergency.
Monitoring the performance of service providers such as contractors or utility companies to ensure that services are delivered satisfactorily.
Overseeing the development of new utility systems or facilities such as gas pipelines or power plants.
Managing an organization’s accounts receivable and payable, including billing customers and collecting payments on behalf of the organization.
Coordinating with outside agencies such as insurance companies or regulators to obtain approval of new projects or policies.
Investigating customer complaints to determine causes and recommend solutions.
Requirements
Job Requirements:
Minimum of B.Sc / B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering.
Proven work experience of at least 12 years
Knowledge of water treatment plant, i.e., STP, ETP WTP, Thermotech Fluid Heat Boiler, Vacuum absorption machine(VAM) on the make of Thermax- 700TR, York chiller-600 TR, High-pressure screw type compressors.
Working experience on Bore well, plumber, and AC jobs.
Dedicated to meeting the expectations and requirements of internal and external customers.
Possesses excellent multi-project management skills.
