Job Position: Technical Manager
Job Location: Port Harcourt, Rivers
Employment Type: Full-time
Job Description
- Conduct Company Quality/Health and Safety (OH&S/ISM) and Environmental Audits.
- Manage vessels, budgets, repair, and maintenance
- Organize, coordinate and delegate technical and operations tasks of the technical department
- Ensure compliance with all classes, flag state or any other standards and requirements
- Introduce, adjust, and distribute procedures and work instructions that relate to technical matters.
- Ensure that updated and detailed specifications of managed vessels are available in the office.
- Act as an Intermediate between crew on board and management ashore.
- Manage Technical crew, and make periodic reports on their performance
Requirements
- BSc or HND in Engineering field
- Previous experience in the same or related position
- Relevant HSE certifications
- Must have managerial skills
- Relevant Marine certifications
- Captain certificate of competence from Nimasa (Added advantage)
