Adexen is seeking an experienced Site Manager. Our client is a leading Civil Construction company in Nigeria.ResponsibilitiesJob Objective:The Site Manager will be responsible for ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality and safety.Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the planning, execution, and closing of construction projects. Develop project schedules, monitor progress, and ensure timely completion.
  • Supervise and coordinate the work of site personnel, subcontractors, and suppliers. Foster a positive and productive work environment.
  • Implement and enforce quality control procedures to ensure that all work meets or exceeds specifications and standards.
  • Promote and enforce strict adherence to safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment for all site personnel.
  • Prepare and manage project budgets. Track expenses and ensure cost-effective use of resources.
  • Maintain effective communication with clients, stakeholders, and regulatory authorities. Address any issues or concerns promptly.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date project documentation, including daily logs, progress reports, and change orders.
  • Ensure all activities comply with local regulations, building codes, and environmental guidelines.

Desired Skills and Experience

  • Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in site management for civil construction projects.
  • Strong leadership and team management abilities.
  • Excellent organizational and project management skills.
  • Proficient in using construction management software and tools.
  • Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and legal regulations.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience working on large-scale infrastructure projects in urban environments.
  • Familiarity with Nigerian construction standards and practices.
  • Proven track record of successfully delivering projects on time and within budget.
