Key Responsibilities

  • Provide overall leadership and strategic direction of Sales Team
  • Develop sales strategies, define and achieve overall revenue and strategic marketing objectives through appropriate delivery channels and contribute towards enhancing business volumes & growth and achieving revenue and profitability
  • Oversee and manage all aspects of sales in Lagos
  • Optimize Route To Market (RTM) and Distribution Design, Implementation and Management aimed to deliver numeric distribution growth and increase sales revenue
  • Research and identify new business opportunities – including new markets, growth areas, trends, customers, partnerships, products and services – or new ways of reaching existing markets
  • Have a good understanding of products and services and be able to advise others about them
  • Collaborate with members of the Marketing Team to penetrate key markets
  • Build processes and funnels for manual top-down reach-out, onboarding, activation, retention and expansion
  • Understand key sales metrics, analyse performance reports and provide leadership with required sales insights to enable business growth
  • Organise C-level meetings and manage complex high value sales engagements.
  • Develop, maintain and client relationships and trusted partnerships that will optimise profitability, revenue, and client satisfaction.
  • Nurture and grow relationships with industry leaders that will lead to sales opportunities and new business.
  • Apply a thorough understanding of the marketplace, industry trends, and products to all management activities and strategic sales decisions.
  • Lead and deliver compelling sales pitches, presentations and product demonstrations to a broad range of audiences,from C-level executives to individual contributors.
  • Oversee recruitment, training and mobilising Sales Team
  • Engage and manage staff performance, capability and capacity development through coaching and field accompaniments.

  • Track record of delivering on sales driven revenue goals and KPIs
  • Extensive experience in leading, managing and scaling large team of Field Sales Agents (FSAs) and Business Development Officers
  • 6 – 8 years of experience with direct/field sales and developing strategies for various distribution channels
  • Existing relationship with FSAs
  • Experience recruiting, mobilising and training Sales Agents
  • Experience managing projects and direct reports nationally
  • Has a notice period of no more than 1 month
  • Fintech or FMCG experience
  • Must be in Nigeria
  • Experience working in multiple regions in Nigeria (South West, North East, etc.)

  • 500k Net – 700k Net (Based on skills and experience)
  • Performance Based Commission
