Job Vacancy: Job title: Sales Manager (South-South Nigeria)
Job description: We are seeking to recruit a Sales Manager for our client in the Nigerian Oil & gas sector. As a Sales Manager, you would be responsible for managing new and existing client relationships, driving sales growth and developing business opportunities within the South-South region of Nigeria. The ideal candidate will be someone who is experienced, self-motivated, and adaptable. You will have the opportunity to work with an established team of professionals who are passionate about driving sales and providing values.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute sales strategies to drive revenue growth in the South-South region of Nigeria
- Maintain and grow existing relationships with clients while identifying new business opportunities
- Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and execute effective marketing campaigns
- Provide detailed reports on sales and marketing activities and performance to senior management
- Engage in market research to identify emerging trends and competitor activities
- Represent the organization at industry exhibitions and events that can drive sales
- Manage a team of sales representatives within the region
- Work collaboratively with other departments within the company to achieve overall company objectives
Requirements
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in sales or business development roles, 5 of which should be in the Oil & gas, FMCG or Logistics industry
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing or related field
- A proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets and managing sales teams
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and within a team
- Strong negotiation skills
- Ability to think strategically and solve complex problems
- Willingness to travel within the Southsouth region of Nigeria.
