market. They are currently expanding and consolidating their coverage around the country. Therefore, are hiring a talented Sales Manager to join their amazing team.
The Sales Manager (East) position is primarily responsible for selling of both speakers
and household electronics at the market. In addition, the suitable candidate will
effectively manage relationships with new and existing clients in the speakers and
household electronics market with the aim of expanding our reach and territory
Objectives of the role include:
Be the face of the company in the Eastern dealer’s/ open market.
Increase the company’s outreach at the local electronics wholesaler market
Achieve the company’s sales goals and objectives through effective planning, analyzing data and future projections.
Generate viable leads, build and nurture long-lasting relationships.
Must be self-driven and motivated.
Good knowledge of the Eastern market.
Provide detailed and adequate forecast.
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES
Create and execute strategic sales plan that will expand clients base and extend current reach
Have deep knowledge and experience in the distribution of both speakers and household electronics.
Must be able to communicate effectively to our client/partners
Experience in direct market channel development activity and coordinate sales distribution by establishing sales territories and quotas
Must be self-motivated and driven.
Consistently meet and exceed agreed business development targets.
Develop and implement sales plans and strategies for territory and business proposals
Oversee proper product display in distributors outlet to aid visibility
Must be able to carry out market surveys, competition activities and market prices/brands advertisement monitoring
Identify knowledge gaps and develop a plan to address them
Organize in-house training for dealers and their sales personnel on newly introduced products and effective sales techniques
Effective communication through daily reports/updates on business performance, new initiatives and other pertinent issues
Analyze sales figures/data, interpret trends to facilitate planning and forecasting of future sales volume to maximize profits
Manage month-end and year-end close processes
Manage stock levels and make key decisions about stock control
Must perform on payment basis and not credit basis
QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS.
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration
Minimum of 3 to 4 years’ experience in the speakers and home appliances/household electronics sector.
Proven track record of success in the entire sales cycle from strategic plan to closing
Proven success rate exceeding targets
Excellent leadership ability
Superb communication, interpersonal and organizational skills
Strong negotiation skills
Motivational speaking experience
Passionate & aggressive about sales territory growth
Superb organizational skills
Reliable team player
Must be resident in the East
Ability to travel routinely, up to 60% of the time or more
