Job Schedule: Full-timeRole Description
- This is a full-time role for a Quality Assurance Manager. The Quality Assurance Manager will be responsible for overseeing the quality control processes and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards. The day-to-day tasks may include conducting quality audits, developing and implementing quality policies and procedures, monitoring product quality and safety, identifying areas for improvement, and training and supervising quality control processes and staff.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement quality assurance policies and procedures to ensure compliance with industry standards, regulations, and customer requirements.
- Establish quality control processes and procedures for product testing, inspection, and evaluation.
- Lead a team, providing guidance, support, and training as needed.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including production and Inventory, to address quality issues and implement corrective actions.
- Analyze quality data and metrics to track performance, identify trends, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
- Manage customer complaints and quality incidents, ensuring timely resolution and effective stakeholder communication.
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends, best practices, and regulatory requirements related to quality assurance and incorporate them into the company’s processes and procedures.
- Oversee the inspection of raw materials received by the inventory.
- Collaborate with suppliers to ensure their supplies meet the company’s quality standards.
- Oversee the testing and inspection of raw materials and finished goods to ensure they meet the quality standards of the company.
- Conduct regular audits and inspections to assess quality performance and identify areas for improvement.
- Prepare reports and presentations on quality performance for management review and decision-making.
- Foster a culture of quality excellence and continuous improvement throughout the organization.
Qualifications
- Strong knowledge of quality control and quality assurance processes
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in quality assurance or quality control roles, with at least 2 years in a managerial or leadership position.
- Experience in the food and beverage industry
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and quality management software
- Bachelor’s Degree in Food Science, Microbiology, Chemistry, or a related field (Master Degree Preferred)
- Quality Assurance certification is a plus
- Attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records
- Ability to work effectively in a team and manage multiple priorities
- Knowledge of regulatory standards and requirements
- Strong knowledge of quality management principles, methodologies, and tools (e.g., ISO standards).
- Proven experience developing and implementing quality assurance policies, procedures, and systems
