The Position
As a Product Manager, you will be based ideally in Lagos, Nigeria. You will be responsible to develop affiliate product marketing strategy, facilitate launch, sales execution as well as follow-up on the marketing programmes & strategic projects with internal stakeholders; working to achieve business objectives in accordance with internal & external quality guidelines.
Your main responsibilities will include:
- Design and execute the product marketing plan. Ensure that the launch plan is in place and develop the product campaign including sales force promotional materials. Develop a competitive product marketing plan, executing counterstrategies when necessary.
- Communicate the marketing programme to internal stakeholders and implement campaigns. Communicate product promotions and plans to the sales force to ensure alignment with NN strategy. Provide the affiliate management with product and marketing updates. Drive the implementation of product strategies and campaigns, monitoring sales progression and performance regularly.
- Maintain and develop relationships with target customers and external stakeholders. Maintain and execute a regular visit plan with target customers in coordination with the sales force.
- Propose the product marketing budget and manage it efficiently, ensuring effective spending investment to maximise return on investment for Novo Nordisk.
- Ensure sales force knowledge and training about product marketing plan and campaigns. Represent Novo Nordisk in congresses and company meetings.
Qualifications
- Relevant academic degree within medical or business – preferably with scientific background.
- English proficiency, both written and spoken.
- At least 3 – 5 years of relevant work experience in pharma industry.
- 1-2 years of experience in the role of product manager is preferred.
- Experience in pharma marketing is considered as an advantage.
- Good understanding of launch process and brand promotions.
