• We are seeking an organized, diligent, and responsible individual to join our growing team.
• Your primary objective will be to manage the process of purchase requisition, ensure timely supply / delivery of items.

Responsibilities

• Carry out a marketing analysis in order to get the best procurement /purchasing deals
• Analyze sales patterns and inventory levels of existing stock, and stay up-to-date on market changes that can affect the supply and prices of goods.
• Prepare and process purchase orders in accordance with the company’s policies and procedures
• Lead the procurement department in ensuring that it maintains updated data such as information about suppliers’ products and prices
• Hold regular meetings with staff and vendors to discuss the department’s performance and resolve any issues in the procurement process
• Train and supervise the work of the procurement department
• Evaluate prospective suppliers before signing them up to ensure they meet the company’s standards/needs
• Review and evaluate the performance of the suppliers
• Maintain and review all records of purchased goods, including their costs, deliveries and inventories.
• Attend meetings and trade conferences
• Submit regular reports of market survey to Management
• Perform any related tasks as assigned and work closely with other departments

Requirements

• Minimum of BSc/HND in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
• Must have worked in procurement for at least 7 years, with minimum of 3 years as a Procurement Manager in the automotive industry
