- Carry out daily activities and housekeeping tasks to ensure the smooth running of card services.
- Provide support to the Customer Experience and Card Operations teams on card-related challenges.
- Collaborate with third-party processors for periodic maintenance and issue resolutions on the platform, ensuring prompt resolution of any technical issues.
- Document and maintain a comprehensive Standard Operation Manual (SOM) for all card services.
- Identify operational and other risks associated with the service and develop a plan to manage them effectively.
- Generate timely ad-hoc and periodic reports as required by the Business or Card Operations.
- Periodically review card services and suggest improvements to enhance efficiency and customer experience.
- Participate in projects related to cards, providing technical support and expertise as needed.
- Ensure compliance with banking, regulatory, and industry standards, such as PCI-DSS, relating to card services.
- Perform other tasks as assigned by the Team Lead to support the overall objectives of the department.
- Escalate technical issues to appropriate resources when necessary and manage the resolution process to minimize disruptions in service.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or a related field.
- Proven experience in a similar role, preferably within the banking or financial services industry.
- Strong understanding of Payment Systems (Postillion etc), Card Transaction flow, ISO 8583, and related technologies.
- Demonstrable experience using SQL
- Proficiency in documenting procedures and maintaining operational manuals.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Knowledge of banking regulations and compliance requirements, particularly PCI-DSS, is preferred.
- Certification in relevant areas such as Certified Payment Card Industry Professional (CPCIP) or ITIL® v4 Foundation is a plus.
