With our partners, we seek to close the yield gap, eradicate global hunger, safeguard the soil on which our lives depend, and generate economic resilience for farming households and the countries in which they live.IFDC is currently seeking passionate individuals to join its team, as the organization continues to expand its impact and work towards creating positive changes in agriculture and sustainable soil management across the world.ResponsibilitiesThe successful applicant will be responsible for driving designated IFDC vehicles by conveying staff to and from project locations, meetings venues etc. when needed. Other responsibilities include but not limited to the following:

  • Ensure that car documents are correct and up to date
  • Keep record of vehicle movements in the vehicle logbook and ensure that staff or any other official visitor taken on a trip sign off the logbook at the end of each journey.
  • Maintain vehicle on regular basis and ensure that vehicles assigned are clean(neat) and in good condition.
  • Ensure that vehicle assigned is always fuelled.
  • Conscious of Nigeria traffic regulations
  • Basic computer literacy and excellent interpersonal skills
  • Perform other assignments as requested by Management and Supervisor.

Reporting and Work RelationshipsThe position will report to the Administration Officer, IFDC Nigeria or her designee.LocationThis is a national recruitment with a duty station in the IFDC office based in Abuja.BenefitsIFDC’s benefits include annual and sick leave, health and group life insurance coverage, a 13th-month salary, social security and pension contribution in compliance with local laws and end-of-contract benefits.Salary ClauseThe salary grade for this position is BG 3 with a starting salary of N374,283.00.The determination of new employee salaries takes into account various factors.
