On behalf of our client, a leading roofing company in Nigeria, we are recruiting for the role of Managing Director. The ideal candidate will be responsible for leading the company’s strategy, business growth, and brand enhancement. The ideal candidate must have a track record of profitably scaling a roofing company while promoting a culture of excellence, innovation, and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and strategic direction to the company

• Drive revenue growth by developing and implementing business strategies and plans

• Ensure the smooth day-to-day operations of the company

• Build and maintain relationships with key industry stakeholders

• Monitor and analyze performance metrics, including financial P&L performance and market share

• Prepare and present reports to the board of directors, keeping them informed of important developments and progress towards strategic objectives

• Ensure the company complies with all relevant regulations, laws, and standards

Requirements

• A Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field

• At least 15 years experience in construction or a related industry, with at least 6 years of experience in a senior management role

• Strong leadership and management skills, with a proven track record in leading and motivating teams

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Strong financial acumen with experience in overseeing budgets, financial statements, and P&L management

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with demonstrated ability to identify and address complex issues and make sound decisions

• Demonstrated experience in building and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders in the industry
