The program targets junior to mid-level tech engineers and provides them with a practical program and community that enables them to secure international opportunities.Role DescriptionThis is a full-time remote position for a Junior Data Analyst. The Junior Data Analyst will be responsible for supporting data analysis and data integration projects, generating reports, and providing insights to support business decisions. The Junior Data Analyst will also work with the team to provide recommendations to optimize data quality and to improve data analysis processes.Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or related field
• Strong knowledge of SQL and data querying
• Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau, PowerBI, and Google Data Studio
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and in a team environment
• Ability to communicate complex data analysis concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences
• Experience with programming languages such as Python, R, or Java is a plus
• Experience in business analysis and project management is a plus
• Experience with data modelling and data architecture is a plus

The RoleYou will be responsible for :

• Defining, developing and maintaining reports to support decision making.
• Processing & Interpreting data to get actionable insights.
• Working closely with business users to understand their data analysis needs/requirements.
• Installing, configuring, upgrading, administering & monitoring the database environment.
• Monitoring & administering ENTER_DB database systems.
• Optimising database performance and perform regular server maintenance through applying patches and versioning when required.
• Troubleshooting any database related issues.
• Identifying trends, doing follow-up analysis, preparing visualizations.
• Keeping updated, accurate and reliable backups of application and databases.
• Performing database upgrades & migrations.
• Documenting policies and procedures.
• Participating in release and sprint planning sessions.

Ideal Profile

• You possess a degree in Computer Science, Applied Mathematics, Engineering or related field.
• You have at least 1 year experience, ideally within a Data Analyst or Database Administrator role.
• You have good presentation and communication skills and the ability to present you findings clearly and accessibly in the form of reports and presentations to senior colleagues.
• You are adaptable and thrive in changing environments
• You possess strong analytical skills and are comfortable dealing with numerical data
• You enjoy finding creative solutions to problems
