The team you would Join:

Sun King’s Global Corporate Risk team identifies, monitor and control the credit risk inherent in the company’s direct to consumer business. The Corporate Risk team works hand in hand with the company’s PAYG Direct Sales, Operations, and Finance teams across multiple countries to maintain the health of the solar energy loan portfolio. The team continuously scrutinize sales and customer payment related data and identifies, pilots, and executes new sales, collections, and incentive processes. The Corporate Risk team also takes charge of the company’s efforts around customer data privacy and consumer protection.

About the Role:

We are seeking a talented and motivated Full Stack Engineer with a strong emphasis on Front-End capabilities to join our team. In this role, you will be tasked with developing, implementing, and maintaining our front-end system. You will play a crucial role in shaping the user interface and experience, while and also backend tasks, database management, API maintenance, and performing analytical tasks.

What you would be expected to do:

• Work closely with end users to deliver new business initiatives and platform enhancements.
• Develop high-quality, reusable, and reliable front-end code which powers our client-facing interfaces.
• Optimize our web applications and APK/IOS tools for maximum speed and scalability.
• Design and implement data collection points to evaluate front-end performance metrics.
• Utilize your full stack abilities to comprehend and articulate the flow and design of our data from front-end to back-end.
• Implement and maintain backend functionalities, including server-side, database management, and APIs.
• Perform regular database maintenance tasks such as data migration, backup, and performance optimization.
• Work with the data team to extract meaningful insights from the collected data and implement analytical features.
• Create automation tools to streamline workflows and reduce human error.
• Ensure the security and integrity of our system by implementing best practices and conducting regular audits.

You might be a strong candidate if you:

• Have HND/Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field, or equivalent work experience.
• Have 3+ years of experience in full stack development with at least 2 years focusing on front-end technologies.
• Have expertise in core front-end technologies (HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, etc.) and familiarity with modern front-end frameworks (React, Vue, Angular, etc.).
• Are Proficient in back-end programming languages (Python, Java, Node.js, etc.) and knowledge of server-side principles.
• Have experience with backend frameworks and technologies (e.g., Django, Flask, Express).
• Have strong knowledge of database concepts and experience with database technologies such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, and MongoDB.
• Have experience in designing and maintaining RESTful APIs, including authentication and authorization mechanisms.
• Are familiar with data techniques and tools to extract insights from collected data.
• Have experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) and deployment processes.
• Have excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and strong organizational skills.
• Are able to work both without supervision and as part of a team.
