Overview
- We are looking for an experienced Human Resources Manager who would be responsible for overseeing human resources functions, monitor employees performance and create a positive and productive work environment for all employees.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement effective recruitment strategies to attract and hire top talent. Screen resumes and applications, conduct interviews, and make hiring recommendations.
- Assist in updating job boards, screening forms, and handling applicants resumes.
- Work with team leaders and department heads to meet hiring needs.
- Efficiently manage all stages of the recruitment pipeline.
- Promote the company’s reputation as a great place to work.
- Coordinate assessment and interviews for prospective candidates.
- Conduct initial orientation for new employees.
- Perform pre-screening calls to analyse applicants’ abilities.
- Assist in payroll preparation, by providing relevant data, bank accounts, and other financial information.
- Create and recommend quality welfare and benefit programs for employees such us Pension, HMO, trainings, insurance and more.
- Work with senior management to devise and implement initiatives that enhance employee engagement, satisfaction, and retention.
- Address employees concerns and inquiries.
- Conduct performance reviews, initiate rewards and disciplinary procedures where necessary.
Requirements and Skills
- Minimum requirement: HND / Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field.
- Minimum of 4 years of work experience in Human Resources Management and talent sourcing.
- Working knowledge of creating or managing staff welfare packages and benefits such as Pension, HMO, trainings, insurance.
- Working knowledge of human resource best practices, including performance management, compensation practices, employee relations, and employment laws.
- Knowledge of staffing and general HR policies and compliance.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication (written and verbal) and presentation skills.
- HR Administration and people management skills.
- Ability to understand and explain job requirements for technical and non-technical roles.
- Professional certification in HR Management e.g. Senior Professional in HR (SPHR), Chartered Institute of Personnel Management (CIPM), etc. will be an advantage.
- Project management skills.
- Expertise in tracking and monitoring remote workers.
- Familiarity with HR systems, tools, and processes.
- Demonstrated leadership qualities with the ability to inspire and motivate a team.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Remuneration
N150,000 / Month.
