Our Client is a top hospitality brand looking to hire a General Manager experienced in Five star

properties, who will oversee all aspects of the hotel operation.

Responsibility

Creates and implements effective business strategies for the hotel.

Oversee the operation of the hotel and ensure the hotel’s profit, customer service and revenue goals are met.

Key contact for guest inquiry or emergencies.

Record, manage, and resolve all guest complaints promptly.

Update and analyze guest feedback reports and utilize this document for service improvement and training.

Conduct any Health and Safety procedures required including fire drills.

Ensure front office staff have followed up on customer concerns (Sign off on guest request sheet).

Ensure certain guests (such as disabled people, elderly, children & VIPs) receive personalized service.

Generate innovative ideas to improve customer experience.

Analyze sales reports and take actions to improve results as appropriate.

Maximize revenue by developing and implementing a sales and marketing plan in collaboration with sales executive.

Seeks opportunities to publicize the hotel.

Work with sales executive to create promos, offers and packages based on current market

Develop annual budget in collaboration with the owner

Responsible for tracking hotel revenue, managing budgets and monitoring expenses

Analyze and interpret financial information and monitor sales and profits

Work with senior management team on outlet expansion

Overseeing Training arrangements for new outlet staff

Possible Travel required

Modifying or revising SOPs for expansion

Requirements

Minimum of BSc in Management or related field

Minimum of 5 years of senior hotel leadership experience

Minimum 3 – 5 years of General Manager experience in a full-service environment

International exposure through education/work experience

Previous experience with hotel Property Management Software (PMS)

Excellent leadership and multi-tasking skills

Excellent customer service skills as well as strong commercial acumen

Previous track record of increasing profitability in the hotel sector

Experience with managing budgets

Demonstrable aptitude in decision-making and problem-solving

Understanding of how online travel agencies operate

Understanding of hotel management best practices and relevant laws

Familiarity with hospitality industry standards

In-depth knowledge of the hotel or travel sector
