Our client, a trailblazer in engineering, project development, and consulting services is looking to hire a COREN Registered Civil Engineer (Highway Engineer) for a team lead position.
Job Responsibilities:
Lead and oversee all design projects, including roads, railways, and bridges.
Managing the planning and design stages of Highway and Infrastructure projects.
Performing due diligence on the impact and feasibility of new construction sites.
Overseeing all project stages from preliminary layouts to final engineering designs.
Surveying new construction sites and assessing existing structures for upgrades.
Designing and recommending improvements to computer-aided design (CAD) software drawings and schematics.
Performing cost estimations and preparing project budgets.
Preparing work schedules, allocating resources, and supervising junior engineers, construction managers, workers, technicians, and contractors.
Ensuring all Infrastructure projects are completed on time and within budget.
Requirements
Job Requirements:
B.Eng in Civil Engineering.
Must be COREN registered.
Minimum of 25 years experience in progressive design and project delivery experience (preferably on roadway projects).
Minimum of 5 years of recent progressive design and project delivery experience in Nigeria
Demonstrated experience in detailed design and delivery of transportation projects, with a focus on roadway projects.
Demonstrated experience in developing and maintaining good client relationships.
Strong written and oral communication skills.
Desire to work with multiple disciplines to develop projects collaboratively.
