Your role extends beyond meeting annual sales targets – you will develop and implement strategic initiatives targeting key industry players such as patients, healthcare providers, HMOs, pharmacies, associations, and organizations.Your mission…Utilizing collaboration closely with cross-functional teams, you’ll refine customer propositions, hire, and lead their sales and customer success personnel.Your Leadership Checklist…

  • On Sales: Own and surpass annual sales targets, customer, and revenue objectives.
  • On Revenue: Develop and execute strategies to achieve sales and revenue targets.
  • On Teams: Lead sales, marketing, and customer success teams to implement strategies.
  • On Management: Manage the sales team, set performance goals, provide training, and evaluate performance.
  • On reports: Track and report customer and revenue performance, analyze trends, and iterate strategies.
  • On stakeholders: Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders.
  • On representation: Represent Platos Health at industry events and conferences.
  • On best practices: Stay updated on industry trends and best practices.
  • On communication: Effectively communicate the value proposition through proposals and presentations.

Your importance…The Head of Sales at Platos Health faces the critical challenge of aligning sales strategies with evolving healthcare dynamics, ensuring revenue growth and fostering vital partnerships, thereby directly impacting the company’s bottom line.You should have done this at some point…

  • Proven track record in sales and team leadership.
  • 7-10 years of sales experience, with some in the healthcare industry.
  • Versatility in both brown and green fields.
  • Background in biomedical science, medicine, or technology is a plus.
  • Strong skills in commercial functions such as marketing and customer success.
  • Knowledge of sales cycles, deal reviews, and sales planning.
  • Strong leadership, management, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to prepare presentations and sales materials.
  • Hands-on approach when needed, guiding the team through complex deals.
  • Strong knowledge of startup dynamics.
