Our client is a fin-tech institution and they are looking to hire a Head of Sales who will promote loan and investment products of the company to corporate and individual clients and also has Knowledge of payroll lending with IPPIS.

The Head of Sales will develop and execute business strategy to acquire and retain customers, develop forecasts and strategies to achieve the set

of our client’s business target, drives sales strategy to boost revenue and profit to achieve our client’s goals.

Job Responsibilities

  • Oversee and drive execution of strategic sales & marketing and relationship management.
  • Establishes sales objectives by forecasting and developing annual, quarterly and monthly sales targets for client acquisition.
  • Create new business opportunities that will boost our client revenue; presenting the product clearly and convincingly to stakeholders, overcoming objections and closing sales.
  • Develop new strategies, tactics, and plans for future growth of our client’s Customer database.
  • Actively participate in key trade & business associations to generate business leads and increase the company’s product visibility.
  • Develop and drive the strategy for the creation of a low-risk portfolio.
  • Find new partnerships, both large and small, with a focus on growing the customer base.
  • Develop and manage the budget for the department.
  • Provide/present formal report of activities and achievements of the department monthly to the CEO.
  • Participate in internal meetings or committees to provide advice on sales data.
  • Provide direction and clarify responsibilities for team members.
  • Communicate effectively with team members and ensure that they are accurately and promptly informed as required.
  • Ensure a seamless handshake with the processes and teams of other departments.
  • Plan, support, and evaluate the performance of members of the department.
  • Provide development support and equip team members with the knowledge and skills required to perform their job effectively.
  • Execute winning sales and business development strategies for the business in order to drive sales and boost revenue.
  • Identify opportunities to reach new market segments and expand market share.
  • Manage team performance and development; mentor and coach reports to ensure performance in the team is sustained.

Job Requirements

  • First Degree in Business Management, or relevant discipline.
  • Minimum of 5+ years of relevant experience in a Financial/Fintech Company.
