Job Summary
Our Client is an African leading online music service. The company has 10m monthly users across Africa, with Nigeria, Ghana, Tanzania, and Kenya being the main markets, music licensed directly from +100,000 African musicians, and 2m international songs are available through licensing agreements with Warner Music Group, Universal Music Group, and Believe Digital. We have experienced rapid growth in recent years and we are currently a team of 40 full-time staff spread across Africa. Our focus is on 15 African countries and aim to grow to 50,000,000 users before June 2025.
Job Description:
1. Design and Craft User-Centric Interfaces:
○ Responsive Visual Excellence: Your primary mission is to craft visually captivating
and responsive user interfaces (UIs) that seamlessly adapt to diverse devices and
browsers. Your meticulous work will also involve optimizing front-end code and
assets, ensuring swift page loading and an impeccable user journey.
2. UI/UX Synergy and Enhanced Usability:
○ Translating Vision into Reality: Take charge of translating design mockups and
wireframes into fully functional web interfaces that resonate with user needs and
adhere to design principles.
○ User-Centered Usability: Conduct rigorous usability testing and leverage
feedback to refine the UI, consistently elevating user satisfaction. Your work will
epitomize user-centered design while maintaining alignment with the Mdundo
brand guidelines.
3. Integration and Seamless Cross-Functional Collaboration:
○ Back-End Synchronization: Collaborate seamlessly with back-end developers to
define API endpoints, ensuring the harmonious integration of front-end and
back-end systems. The smooth data flow and user interactions you orchestrate
will define our product’s excellence.
○ Tech Proficiency: Stay at the forefront of front-end technologies, libraries, and
frameworks to make informed technology selections and streamline integration
processes.

features that captivate and engage our audience.
● Optimization Mastery: Fine-tune our applications for maximum speed and scalability,
ensuring a seamless user experience.

transmitted to the back-end for processing.

Requirements
Requirements:
● Experience: A minimum of 5 years of hands-on front-end development experience.
● Education: Hold a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
● Technical Prowess: Proficiency in web markup, encompassing HTML5 and CSS3, is
essential. Additionally, showcase proficiency in client-side scripting and mastery of
JavaScript frameworks.
● Analytical Mindset: Demonstrate strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
● Communication: Possess excellent communication skills, a cornerstone of effective
collaboration.
