Job Location: Ogba, Ikeja – Lagos

Position Overview

  • The Front Desk Assistant serves as the first point of contact for visitors, clients, and employees.
  • This role plays a crucial part in providing excellent customer service and maintaining a professional and welcoming atmosphere at the front desk.
  • The Front Desk Assistant performs various administrative and clerical tasks to ensure the smooth functioning of the office or establishment.

  • Greeting and Welcoming Visitors: The Front Desk Assistant is responsible for greeting and welcoming visitors, clients, and employees with a friendly and professional demeanor. They ensure that each person feels valued and attended to promptly.
  • Answering Phone Calls: Handling incoming calls is a significant aspect of the role. The assistant must answer and direct calls to the appropriate personnel or department, take messages accurately, and provide relevant information to callers when needed.
  • Administrative Support: Assisting with administrative tasks such as data entry, filing, and document preparation may be part of the job. The assistant may also help with maintaining office supplies and equipment.
  • Registering and Signing In Guests: For establishments that require visitor registration or sign-in, the Front Desk Assistant manages this process, ensuring that all necessary information is recorded accurately and adhering to security protocols.
  • Customer Service: Providing exceptional customer service is vital in this role. The assistant should be knowledgeable about the organization’s services or products and be able to assist visitors with their inquiries or direct them to the appropriate department.
  • Handling Security Procedures: Front Desk Assistants may be responsible for monitoring and implementing security procedures, such as issuing visitor badges or providing access control to the premises.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
