- Responsible for preparing Management Performance Report (MPR), Financial Report and compilation on annual budget input for the Plant.
Key Duties & Responsibilities
- Coordinate the preparation of monthly performance report (MPR) for the Plant.
- Conduct monthly variance analysis to provide better informed management decision.
- Review Quarterly Preparation of DCP-Ibese income statement for Effective Tax Rate computation (ETR).
- Coordinate the preparation and compilation of annual budget inputs for the Plant.
- To ensure accurate monthly preparation of the Plant’s financial report for Exco/Technical and presentation.
- Coordinate and review the conduct of monthly financial Trend analysis and advise Management on effective cost management strategy.
- Perform any other duties as may be assigned by HOD.
Key Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree or its equivalent in Accounting or other related discipline.
- Relevant professional qualifications such as ACA, CIMA, CPA, ACCA.
Work experience:
- Minimum of 15 years of relevant experience.
Skills & Competencies:
- Good understanding of trends, challenges, opportunities, regulations and legislations relating to the cement manufacturing industry.
- Good knowledge and understanding of finance best practices, IFRS, and other applicable accounting standards.
