Job description: FINANCIAL PRODUCT MANAGER
PalmPay is a pan-African fintech company currently operating in Nigeria, Ghana, Kenya, Uganda and Tanzania and expanding to other markets in this year. We’re reinventing the payments experience by making it easy and reliable for everyone to transfer money, pay bills and shop online.
We’re looking for an experienced Finance Manager with a passion for driving product innovation and a keen understanding of the savings and stock markets.
Key Roles and Responsibilities
1. Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify opportunities for our financial products, particularly in savings and stock-related segments.
2. Drive the product development lifecycle, from ideation through execution and analysis.
3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Design, Engineering, and Marketing, to deliver product requirements and drive product enhancements.
4. Use customer insights and data to make informed decisions and improve the user experience.
5. Work closely with the technology team to design and bring new features to our app, enhancing the functionality and user experience.
Qualification
1.Minimum of 3 years of experience in product management within the internet industry.
2. Deep understanding of finance and the stock market.
3. Proven track record in executing product strategy and delivering user-centric products.
4. Excellent communication, collaboration, and leadership skills.
5. Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving skills.
6. Proficient in English and capable of effectively collaborating with international colleagues
