They currently play in the consumer goods sector, with products and digital content geared towards the female market in Kenya, their pilot country. They plan to expand swiftly in geography.Candidates residing in Lagos, Nigeria are preferred for this role.About the roleAs the Field Sales Manager you will be responsible for achieving sales targets in your region/territory by actively engaging with customers in the market, promoting their products/services, and nurturing client relationships to drive revenue growth in designated territory.Your Key responsibilities…
- Sales Responsibility: You will meet and exceed sales targets set for the designated territory.
- Customer Responsibility: Yo will identify potential customers to expand the customer base , generate leads, and convert leads into sales opportunities.
- Client Responsibility: You will establish and maintain strong relationships with key clients, retailers, and distributors. You will also travel to meet clients, attend trade shows, and participate in industry events as necessary.
- Product Responsibility: You will conduct product/service demonstrations and presentations as required.
- Collaboration Responsibility: You will collaborate with marketing teams to create and implement effective promotional campaigns and product launches.
- Performance Responsibility: You will monitor and assess sales performance metrics, taking corrective actions as needed to achieve sales goals.
- Industry Responsibility: You will stay updated on beauty trends , new products, and market conditions to adapt strategies accordingly.
To be considered in this role..Education and Experience● Minimum of OND in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field (or equivalent experience).● Proven experience (2 years) in sales. ( cosmetics or the beauty industry is a plus.)● Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and drive a distributor team.● In-depth knowledge of beauty market trends, and sales techniques.● Ability to travel as needed and work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.How important are you as a Manager…You play a key role in driving revenue, building and maintaining customer relationships, and ensuring the effective distribution and promotion of products in the market.Challenges you will have to overcome…This involves identifying and overcoming challenges in the sales process, from market fluctuations and competition to addressing customer needs and optimizing the sales strategy for sustained growth.What do you stand to gain?
