We are seeking a dynamic individual to join a busy international chain group hotel with exceptional conference and banqueting facilities.

As the Food and Beverage Manager, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth operations of the hotel’s dining venues and delivering exceptional service to our valued guests. Your strong leadership skills, extensive knowledge of food and beverage operations, and keen attention to detail will be instrumental in maintaining the highest standards of quality and guest satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee all aspects of the food and beverage department, including restaurant, bar, and banquet operations
Ensure exceptional service delivery and uphold the hotel’s standards of quality and guest satisfaction
Develop and implement strategies to maximise revenue, control costs, and achieve financial targets
Lead and motivate a diverse team of F&B professionals, providing guidance and training as needed
Collaborate closely with the culinary team to create innovative menus and enhance the overall dining experience
Build strong relationships with guests, ensuring their needs are met and expectations exceeded
Manage inventory, ordering, and stock control to optimise efficiency and minimise waste
Stay updated with industry trends and competition to drive continuous improvement in F&B offerings

Requirements:
Previous experience as a Food and Beverage Manager in a busy international chain group hotel within Africa
Strong knowledge of food and beverage operations, including restaurant, bar, and banquet management
Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a team
Proven track record in achieving financial targets and managing budgets
Exceptional attention to detail and a passion for delivering outstanding guest experiences
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
Fluency in English is essential, knowledge of additional languages is a plus
