Job description: A 5* boutique hotel seeks an experienced hotel Executive Chef from a 5* boutique hotel and fine dining background – looking for a dynamic, creative Executive Chef to take the culinary product to new levels with flair to create new and exciting meal experiences combining local cuisine with new world trends.

Experience required – DO NOT APPLY UNLESS YOU HAVE THE SPECIFIC EXPERIENCE.

• Internationally recognised cheffing qualifcation
• Minimum 4 years experience as Exec Chef in a 5* boutique hotel or luxury lodge environment with 50 rooms plus
• Must have worked previously in Sub Saharan Africa and have prior international background
• A sound business acumen is required with a good knowledge of budgeting and cost controls
• A stable track record is required with at least three years experience in a senior role in the luxury segment.
• Candidates must be HACCP trained and be able to maintain the highest standards of food hygiene at all times
• Essential age group 40 to 50 maximum
