KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Market Analysis and Strategy:
- Conduct thorough market research to identify potential clients, industry trends, and competitor activities.
- Develop and implement strategic plans to penetrate and expand the software solutions market in Nigeria.
2. Sales and Client Acquisition:
- Lead the end-to-end sales process from prospecting to closing deals with a focus on software solution sales.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, understanding their needs, and presenting tailored software solutions accordingly.
- Actively seek new business opportunities and partnerships to drive sales growth.
3. Product Knowledge and Presentation:
- Demonstrate a deep understanding of our software solutions and effectively communicate their value propositions to potential clients.
- Conduct product presentations, demonstrations, and workshops to showcase the capabilities and benefits of our software offerings.
4. Collaboration and Coordination:
- Collaborate closely with the marketing team to develop compelling sales materials, campaigns, and strategies aligned with market demands.
- Coordinate with the technical team to ensure seamless implementation and client satisfaction post-sales.
5. Reporting and Analysis:
- Prepare regular reports on sales activities, pipeline status, and market insights for management review.
- Analyze sales performance metrics to identify areas for improvement and optimization.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Masters degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field.
- Proven track record in software sales, with at least 7 years of experience in B2B sales, preferably in the technology/software industry.
- In-depth knowledge of the Nigerian software solutions market and its key players.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Strong business acumen with the ability to develop and execute sales strategies effectively.
- Self-motivated, proactive, and results-oriented mindset.
- Proficiency in CRM software and MS Office Suite.
