Role Overview:
We are looking for a passionate and talented NodeJS Backend Engineer to join our growing team. This role is integral to our goal of leveraging cutting-edge technology to create innovative financial solutions for our customers and the financial sector at large.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable, reusable, and performant backend code
- Collaborate closely with front-end engineers, product managers, and designers
- Implement API endpoints and services
- Write unit and integration tests to ensure robustness and reliability
- Analyze system requirements and prioritize tasks
- Debug issues across services and multiple levels of the stack
- Ensure compliance with data security and privacy regulations
- Contribute to architectural and design decisions
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years experience in NodeJS and backend development
- Proficiency in JavaScript (ES6) and/or TypeScript
- Experience with databases such as MySQL, MongoDB, or PostgreSQL
- Familiarity with RESTful API development
- Working knowledge of Git
- Solid understanding of software design principles
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively
- Excellent communication skills
