Job description: About the RoleThe Global Alliance for Improved Nutrition (GAIN) is seeking for an Associate, Programme Monitoring and Improvement provide technical support to the Nigeria project teams to design, coordinate, and implement the monitoring framework of the country programme. The post holder will provide day to day project monitoring and improvement with evidence related support to the country office.This role will be offered on a three year(3) fixed-term contract subject to availability of funding and will be based in Abuja, Nigeria.Key Responsibilities include:
- Support the development of results frameworks / logical frameworks and monitoring plans, as well as the uptake and use of monitoring tools.
- Provide Quality Assurance and oversee the collection of routine monitoring data by implementing agencies and governments to track progress of program activities towards objectives.
- Review and analyse data and prepare reports on monitoring indicators.
- Contribute to analysis of information collected and support all dissemination efforts including writing reports, briefs, and other materials.
- Support dissemination of results to appropriate audience, interpretation of data and follow-up / corrective action.
- Support work with selected implementation partners in country on all aspects of project planning and implementation including technical (finalizing protocols, data collection tools, conducting trainings, supervising field work), process (implementation plan development and monitoring, tracking deliverables).
About YouThe ideal candidate should have experience in the public health and/or nutrition sector for implementing, monitoring improvement frameworks, and supporting operations and participatory research. You should have experience in analysing data, tracking indicators and developing and/or strengthening performance monitoring systems.The post holder should have strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in multi-cultural and multi-lingual environments. You should have the ability to prioritize, multi-task and work well under pressure with frequent deadlines and be willing to travel in country.In addition to this, the post holder should have experience in creating interactive dashboards for visualization using Tableau, Power Bi or Excel. A bachelor’s degree in nutrition, Public Health, Data Sciences, Development Studies, Statistics or related field would be an advantage.About our OfferThe starting gross salary on offer for this role is from NGN 7’388’496–NGN 8’437’104 gross per annum, depending on experience.GAIN has a fair and competitive salary structure that allows for annual progression subject to good performance.
