Job Position: Accounts and Administrative Officer
Job Location: Ikeja, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time
Job Responsibilities
- Implementing and monitoring of financial controls in respect of expenses, materials procurement and utilization as it affects production.
- Initial development then preparation of Management accounts and Finance Reports within the agreed timescale.
- Produce weekly, monthly and quarterly management reports for use by senior management.
- Preparation of monthly income statement for management use.
- Follow up and resolve audit comments and implement workable suggestion.
- Managingthe accounts payable function
- Managingtheaccounts receivable,alerting Management about problem accounts
- Monitor Compliance with approved Annual Estimates (Budget) and Long Term Plan.
- Generate and follow up production and other variance reports compare with budget (annual estimates), report and investigate variances.
- Monthly assessment and review of stocks and provisions to determine their adequacy.
- Payroll processing and other associated payroll tasks
- Answering phone inquiries and handling complaints in a courteous, professional manner
- Ensuring office supplies are maintained, including checking inventory and working with vendors to ensure adequate levels of necessary supplies at all times
- Ensuring the confidentiality and security of files and filing systems
- Coordinating schedules, arranging meetings, distributing memos and reports and ensuring that everyone is kept current of necessary company news and information
