Job description: Apple & Pears Limited was incorporated in the year 2012 as an Agro-Allied & food industry to produce soya meal, concentrate and finished feed for the poultry, and refined edible oil, mayonnaise, ketchup, salad cream, vinegar, and custard powder for the Nigerian market. The company has invested millions of dollars in land, building, construction of infrastructural facilities and machinery, with one goal in mind and that is to have an integrated facility encompassing the complete value chain of the soya bean business, from sourcing, processing, and extraction to the packaging and distribution of a wide range of soya products. With an extensive distribution network which enables the company to market its product rangea wide range of markets, making a strong impact on the refined oil market segment and feed mill industry in Nigeria.
We are recruiting to fill the position below:
Job Position: Accountant
Job Location: Kano
Employment Type: Full-time
Responsibilities
- Preparing and presenting management account for management.
- Preparing weekly and monthly operation budget.
- Prepare quotation for the bid project
- Monthly taking of inventory
- Prepare budget and weekly cash flow.
- Liaise with auditor in preparation of audited account.
- Preparing bank reconciliation for all account.
- Prepare cheque for payment.
- Preparing and ensuring all invoices are recorded.
- Raising and posting sales invoice, cash receipt and payment voucher.
- Following up on client to ensure payment is made on time.
- Computation payee, vat and wht tax.
Requirements
- Candidates should possess an HND / B.Sc in Accounting or related discipline.
