Job description: Presently, we are on the lookout for an experienced Accountant to join one of Africas oldest and fastest growing Financial Services companies based in Nigeria.
Job & Company Description:
Seeking an Accountant to join our team and support various financial tasks. Responsibilities include bank reconciliations, posting revenue journals using the Odoo accounting system, assisting in CMA reporting on a daily/monthly basis, and ensuring compliance with statutory regulations like VAT, WHT, PAYE, NSSF, and NHIF. You’ll also be involved in revenue and petty cash reconciliations, handling accounts payable, and taking on any other duties assigned by the CFO Kenya.
Responsibilities (not limited to):
- Bank reconciliations
- Posting revenue journals in accounting
- Assisting in CMA reporting – Daily/Monthly
- Assisting Statutory compliance – VAT, WHT, PAYE, NSSF, NHIF
- Revenue reconciliations
- Petty cash reconciliations
- Handling accounts payable
- Any other role that may be Assigned by CFO Kenya
Qualifications:
- Degree in Commerce/Finance/Accounting/Economics/CPA level 2/ACCA level 2.
- 2 to 3 years experience in busy accounts department preferably in non-dealing forex broker.
- Attention to detail.
- Can meet tight deadlines.
