A bout between the YouTuber-turned-boxer and the former Love Island star has been agreed twice in the last 12 months onto to sensationally collapse on both occasions.
Fury was forced to pull out of a December showdown last year after suffering a rib injury in training with the fight agreed again in June following more drawn-out negotiations.
While the fight was confirmed to take place in August in new York’s famed Madison Square Garden, it was called off again after Fury and his team were stopped from boarding a US-bound plane at Heathrow.
The Briton has been unable to travel to the US since then but Paul has now offered to come to London or Manchester to ensure the fight finally goes ahead in 2023, urging Fury’s promoter Warren to finalise a deal this week.
‘Dear Frank Warren, I agree to fight Tommy in Manchester or London in February,’ Paul wrote on Twitter.
‘I’ll come to his country, no more running. His baby is due then and you’ve said it is no issue.
‘Since John is adamant we have agreed, I am giving you seven days to present a signed contract by Tommy or I am moving on.’
Paul’s tweet comes after John Fury, father of Tommy and heavyweight champion Tyson, claimed a deal have been verbally agreed with the American’s manager.
‘I have locked him down, backed him in a corner and check-mated him, he has agreed to a February bout,’ Fury Snr said, having ripped off his shirt and confronted Paul following Tommy’s exhibition win over Rolly Lambert in Dubai on Sunday.
‘He shook my hand, he gave me his word of honour, his manager, and said it’s happening in February.
‘I said if you back out you will never live it down in your life and you can’t break a man’s handshake. Contracts mean nothing but a handshake does.
‘His manager has given his word, he will fight in February’.
