Inter Milan are confideny of tying up a deal for Arsenal star Alexandre Lacazette in January, with the Italians also keen on Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang.

The Serie A giants are keen to sign a striker in January after losing Romelu Lukaku to Chelsea in a £98m deal.

Lacazette has fallen out of favour this term and his contact expires next summer, meaning he can sign a pre contract agreement with foreign clubs from January 1st.

But Inter’s preference is to sign Lacazette this season and they’re willing to put a fee up to secure him in January, according to Gazzetta Dello Sport.

Lacazette has made just two Premier League appearances this term and he was substituted on in the second half on both occasions.

The former Lyon man does have two goals to his name this campaign but both came in the EFL Cup and Arteta is happy for him to leave.

The club also hold an interest in Aubameyang but the Gabon international will likely prove more difficult to prise away from the Emirates.

Aubameyang signed a new deal at the club in 2020 and Mikel Arteta is keen to keep the former Dortmund ace.

However, with 18 months to run on Aubameyang’s deal, Arsenal could see the opportunity to cash in on the 32-year-old.
