Bayern Munich manager, Thomas Tuchel has said sorry to Harry Kane after losing 3-0 to RB Leipzig in the German Super Cup on Saturday.
Dani Olmo scored a hat-trick against the Bundesliga champions who were stunned on their home turf.
Kane, who only completed his summer move from Tottenham Hotspur earlier in the day, was introduced by Tuchel in the second half.
However, the England captain failed to impact the final score of the game at the Allianz Arena.
After the game, Tuchel said: “I’m just sorry for Harry Kane, he probably thinks we haven’t trained for four weeks.
“Our performance today had nothing to do with what we set out to do. It’s a very bitter evening, I’m sorry.”
